Confluence Integration: Use Pages as Knowledge Sources
Connect your Confluence spaces and pages to Backdrop as knowledge sources. Read-only access, no write permissions. Supports multi-site Atlassian accounts.
Connect Confluence
- In Backdrop, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Click Connect next to Confluence.
- You will be redirected to Atlassian to authorize access.
- Log in with your Atlassian account and grant Backdrop read access to your Confluence spaces and pages.
Once authorized, Backdrop will sync your Confluence pages so they can be added as knowledge sources.
Permissions
Backdrop requests read-only access to your Confluence content:
- Read spaces: browse your Confluence spaces
- Read pages: access page content for knowledge base ingestion
No write permissions are requested. Backdrop will never modify your Confluence content.
Multi-Site Accounts
If your Atlassian account has access to multiple Confluence sites, Backdrop will automatically connect to the first available site. To connect a different site, disconnect and reconnect the integration while logged into the desired Atlassian site.
